Quotefor.au is free to join for licensed Australian tradies. You pay nothing to be on the platform. We make our money from the 8% platform fee on the customer side — you keep 92% of every job booked. There's no monthly fee, no listing fee, no lead-purchase fee, no exclusivity clause. You can be on every other platform you want at the same time.

What you actually do

  • Review pre-scoped AI quotes from your phone (about 6 minutes per quote on average). Most quotes need zero changes; some need a single line-item override.
  • Accept or reject the job based on your calendar and the location. You're never obligated to take a quote you don't want.
  • Do the work if the homeowner accepts. The same tradie who reviewed the quote does the job — there's no hand-off to anyone else.
  • Get paid on a milestone schedule (typically 25% on accept, 50% on materials delivered, 25% on completion). Payment lands in your account within 2 business days.

02 — REQUIREMENTS

Who we work with.

Licensed Australian trades, insured, in good standing.

To be a Quotefor.au reviewing tradie you need:

  • A current trade licence in your state (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, ACT, NT) — we verify quarterly with the state regulator
  • Public liability insurance to at least $5M (we'll verify your certificate of currency)
  • Three customer references from completed jobs in the last 12 months
  • A working ABN and a Stripe-compatible business bank account
  • A smartphone capable of running the Quotefor.au tradie app (any phone from the last 4 years works)

How to apply

Email tradies@quotefor.au with your licence number, ABN, and the categories you cover. We onboard new tradies in batches each fortnight — expect a 5–10 day turnaround from application to first quote in your queue.
